Loaded Questions - Adult Version
Having played the original version of the game, I found the questions outdated and somewhat bland. In my searches to see if there was an updated version, I found this one. Myself being a college kid, this game is perfect for my age range, as it asks all the immature, silly, and embarrassing questions everyone is dying to know.
This is definitely not a game for children, or anyone under 17 as there are a lot of sex related questions (this is the adult version of a naughty game afterall).
Buy this if you and your friends are outgoing and like to have a good time. Besides, no one said you couldn't lie.

SET is a card game of quick recognition and deduction. Each card contains one of three symbols (squiggles, diamonds, ovals) in varying numbers (up to three), colors (purple, green, red), and degrees of shading. A dealer arranges 12 cards, face up, and the players--without taking turns--hastily scrutinize the images for logical "sets" of three cards linked by combinations of sameness or difference. It's not as complicated as it sounds: examples include a trio of paired ovals with increasing levels of shading between cards, or disparate symbols in different colors which increase in number on each card (card one has a green squiggle, card two a pair of purple ovals, card three a trio of diamonds). I am a high school math teacher and when I introduced my students to this game they all went wild over it. I have my Algebra, Geometry, Advanced Algebra and Trig students begging to play! It's easy to teach the rules and it improves their spatial reasoning. I LOVE IT!

I like the game to play it alone so what sense is getting a game? I could play solitaire. But it is kind of a neat concept but like I said, not so great to play in a group.

I first saw this game in a public-radio catalog about 10 years ago, but never played it until this past holiday when 29 family members gathered for Christmas. A cousin brought it, and once everyone knew how to play, there would be people joining a game right and left! Tons of fun and easy to understand once you get the hang of it, I plan on buying Set as a gift for many friends. Highly recommended!

Great game - but the dice hate me!5
That's just a bit of humor. I have to be honest, I love this game. It is very fun, but it takes 1 game for people to truly understand how to play. I still consider it relatively easy to learn though. I like the game, but I have to admit - I feel the dice hate me! Actually, I got rid of the original dice because they were too light for my liking.
Anyway, this is a great game to play with a couple friends. I think if you add the expansion and take it to 5-6 players, it becomes a very fun game.
This edition with the framing seas (which I don't have) looks like a great addition...
Settler's of Catan review5
An excellent board game that is surprisingly fun and competitive. The only downside is that the game maxes out at 4 people (unless you buy the expansion pack). A cross between Risk & Monopoly.

I got this game for my sister for her birthday. She loved it so much that she makes my parents play it at least every week and they hardly ever play games and they love it. Whenever I come home from college, we spend the weekend playing several games of Catan. I can't get enough of it!

It's still hard to get a triple word score, the tiles are still made of wood, there's only one "X" in the whole box, and family feuds are increasing exponentially. Poor Quality for the Price
I bought this game after my wife and I started playing Scrabble frequently. I thought that the rotating board would be more convenient than using our lazy susan. I also thought the raised grid would be great for keeping the tiles in place. However, for the price I paid, I expected much better quality. Upon opening the box, I immediately commented how cheap the plastic was. As I set the board down, the playing surface was very thin and wasn't really attached completely to the base. It was very thin cardboard and moved up and down when you touched it. On the box, it appears that the tile holders have the information about the number of letter tiles molded into them. But, they are just stickers. I packed it all up and returned it the same day. If I had paid a lot less, I would've kept it. But, it was just too poor quality for what I paid.
Deluxe Scrabble
The best thing about this version is that the board sits up high enough so that when you spin it around for the next player it clears the the long plastic piece that holds your 7 letters...your letters in their holder won't get knocked off the table or moved. The only bad thing is that the board surface does not hold the letters that well, the little platic grid is not high enough next to each letter piece. If you turn the board slowly it's ok but if you turn the board to fast or you have big fingers then the pieces move easly.
Otherwise all the pieces fit in the botton part of the "lazy susan" design......stores neatly away.

THE BEST GAME EVER INVENTED!!! I TRY TO PLAY EVERYDAY AND OWN 5 SCRABBLE BOARDS PERSONALLY. With two more hours in a day I could guarantee I could play everyday.

kid fun too5
This game is a step above the card game Kaboodle from the makers of Uno. As my sons (6 & 8) had learned that card game prior, they were able to catch onto this Target game. With a little help, even a novice (with some card game knowledge) can win the game and feel good enough to play again and again. I can get somewhat strategic, and each game plays out a little different. It's not alot of laughs as everyone is concentrating so much and trying to plan their strategy! I appreciated the other reviews. THANKS!
excellent game for two players5
More often than not, my wife and I usually end up playing games with one another as opposed to a larger group of people. Some games that we buy end up being much more fun with friends and family, but are of only limited interest for two players. Target is NOT one of those games...it works beautifully for two people. In addition, it has several other fantastic advantages over many other games:
- you can remove "target" cards if you'd like to control the length of the game (just take some out if you want a shorter game)
- you are never really "out" of the game, even if you seem to be trailing
- it is very, very easy to learn and remember the rules
- it makes you think and strategize, but not due to complicated rules
- it is very travel-friendly, consisting of just a deck of cards
Like other reviewers here, I love the game and can't recommend it enough. It's our "go to" game whenever we have half an hour to relax with a game.
One of our favorite family games5
My children and I love to play games together, and Target is one of our favorites. The combination of strategy and luck makes it a fun game, and while I find it challenging enough, the younger players catch on and get competitive quickly. We especially enjoy seeing who will earn the highest-ever score on one turn. When my children get married I'm giving them a gift of the games we loved best so they can have the same enjoyment with their own children, and Target will definitely be included in that gift!
