Wow! I got this game for the Wii with low expectations since I have seen other pinball games converted for the PC and was always disappointed with those prior versions. Once I received this game, I was blown away. This has been one of our favorite games. I knew there were "real" pinball tables converted for this, but did not realize that one of my all-time favorites was in the package. I would play Pinbot for hours upon upon hours and when I saw it included, I jumped right to it. The only con with this game is the inability to set the table view before releasing the ball. Other than that, if you enjoyed playing old school pinball, then I highly recommend this game.
Brings back lots of memories - very realistic While some of these games pre-date the pinball addiction of adolescence and are very basic games that were boring then, there are some fantastic games in this bundle; some I even forgot I loved since it was so long ago that I played them for hours on end. Whirlwind, Taxi and Black Knight are the three best games on the disk. Those three alone make it worth the price of admission to this arcade. There are some other good ones and some that were pretty basic and boring back then and still are in digital form. It would be great to see more pinball games available for the WII - Earthshaker, Cyclone (played virtually every day after school in high school!), Adam's Family, Who Dunnit, Rocky & Bullwinkle, World Cup Soccer, Elvira, Eight Ball Deluxe and there's got to be more. Anyway, awesome disk and a steal at $20 so if you love old school pinball, don't hesitate to buy this!
Own two pinball games Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection We own this game and the 3-D pinball game. Of the two, this is our favorite by far. My husband was hooked on Gorgar as a teen and said the Wii version has the same game features as the actual pinball machine. We have younger friends who grew up without knowing the joy of a real pinball machine. They're now hooked on this game and the four of us have great tournaments. My only regret is the number of pinball machines represented; one can never have too many pinballs! :)
